Tot Vent broadens its horizons with a commitment to the training of the new generations

At Tot Vent we firmly believe that the nautical sector offers a wide range of job opportunities for young people, and in this line we have included in our ranks a trainee student from France, specifically from the Institut Rosa Luxemburg in Canet-en-Roussillon (Pyrénées-Orientales).

Marine, who is studying for a vocational baccalaureate in nautical and automotive upholstery in France, has decided to choose us as the company authorised by her school to carry out the internship to complete her training. The studies he is doing last 3 years, with 21 weeks of internships in companies. This institute contacted us a few months ago to show their interest in our collaboration, as we are a leading company in the field of nautical upholstery.

At Tot Vent we consider the training of future professionals in the sector to be key, so we immediately expressed our complete and clear willingness to collaborate in the work experience of one of their students, who arrived last September and will be working at Tot Vent until this October.
"We are delighted to collaborate in the training of a new professional. We have integrated her into our team as one more, and she is participating in different aspects and tasks of our work process, cutting, sewing, taking measurements,...", explains Javier Vico, administrator of Tot Vent. "The truth is that she has arrived well trained and familiar with the type of machines we use. This is her third and final year of training, and she is learning very quickly. We believe that her time at Tot Vent will be very positive for her", he adds.

"The practical training of students in the different nautical disciplines is very important for their correct preparation for their future work, and the training of qualified trainers is a key aspect for the development of the sector, so for us it is a pleasure to collaborate, and we are proud that the Rosa Luxemburg Institute has thought of us for Marine's internship", he concludes.

Marine is also very positive about her internship at Tot Vent and the work she has done during these weeks. She will return home very satisfied and even more so having changed not only her environment for a short period of time, but also her country. She came from France to Mallorca hoping to discover the world of sailing in depth knowing "The wide range of opportunities offered by the sector and even more so in the Balearic Islands, since the conglomeration of companies and the great difference and typology of vessels present here is striking".
